My most favourite creature that can be found in nature around these parts: the squirrel. I’ve been lucky enough to care for and bottle-feed a couple orphaned squirrels in my lifetime and they are so wonderful. I’ve always loved squirrels and have never thought of them as pests like most people do. Squirrels are precious, smart and resourceful little beings!

Nothing too exciting in there… just your basic fridge. Features include: cat food, juice, giant bulk barn container of peanut butter, lots of leafy greens, almond milk and a trusty brita filter. Most importantly, our fridge is a cruelty-free one.

I would love to have a sputnik chandelier, but know I’ll never be able to afford the $2,000 price tag. And, even if I did have the money for it, I could never justify spending that much money on a light. I’ll probably just opt for some sort of DIY creation.

Had this delicious vegan raw taco salad. Sounds weird, right? NOPE! It was amazing and delicious and I want to eat it every day for the rest of my life. It was mixed greens, salsa fresco, guacamole, sunflower seed taco meat, cashew sour cream and carrot flax chips!

This is a painting I made last year around this time for my (then) soon-to-be niece. I modelled it after the nursery theme they had for her. I think it turned out pretty well considering it’s still up in her room!

I wouldn’t say I feel too guilty over the fact that this brings me pleasure because it’s awesome. But, at 25 years old, I have become completely enamoured with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel… and their relationship. I missed out on so much by not watching this show when I was younger.

I picked up this awesome antique bronze door knocker at an estate sale a while back. Whoever owned it had a bunch of fox hunting paraphernalia and while I don’t love the hunting part, I do love foxes. Can’t wait until I own a house so I can put it up.
